Students of Design Studio VIII (ARC4204) at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) conducted a study tour to Bengal Braided Rugs Ltd. (BBRL) in Savar on December 12, 2024. The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into industrial site planning and functional workflows as part of their design project on Beni Bunon industries.

A total of 25 students, accompanied by two faculty members, participated in the tour, which took place from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. During the visit, students observed the site conditions and operational processes of the industry, gaining valuable knowledge to inform their academic work.

The study tour successfully enhanced students’ understanding of industrial architecture and design, bridging theoretical learning with real-world applications.
