Introductory Statements:

Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST) has been in existence since 1995 and its Department of Architecture is doing very well attracting national and international students, establishing international collaboration and joint programs of study. The under graduate program (B.Arch) of the department has already earned the accreditation of the Institute of Architects, Bangladesh (IAB). Our graduates numbering around 400 over the years are working at home and in different countries of the world, earning reputation for the country and the institution. Now it has become an urgent need to produce architects specializing in the various fields of Architecture and Planning.

Since the B.Arch program of the department is well set, the department is now looking forward to initiate post graduate programs in the forms of M.Arch and Post Graduate Diploma in architecture so as to be able to launch significant investigations and research activities along with higher theoretical learnings. This is expected to lead the department to a higher level of accomplishments and benefit the country in developing human resources in the specialized areas of Architecture.
