Pubali Bank has generously donated a microbus to Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) as a token of goodwill. The official handover ceremony took place on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the university campus. The Managing Director of Pubali Bank, Mohammad Ali, handed over the key of the microbus to the Vice-Chancellor of AUST, Professor Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, in the presence of Professor Dr.  Golam Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AUST and President of Dhaka Ahsania Mission.

Distinguished members of the Board of Trustees were also present at the event, including Dr. Mohammad Khalilullah, Md. Shajedul Qayyum Dula, Professor Dr. Muhammad Mohiuddin, and Dr. M. A. Jalil.  Among other attendees were AUST’s Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Treasurer Professor Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque expressed his sincere gratitude to Pubali Bank for this generous contribution. He stated, “We are truly thankful to Pubali Bank for donating a microbus to the university. This will significantly enhance the transport facilities for students. Contributions like this play a vital role in advancing the academic and research environment. Pubali Bank’s generous initiative strengthens the partnership between educational institutions and the corporate sector, paving the way for future collaborative efforts.”

Professor Dr. Golam Rahman, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of AUST and President of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, also conveyed his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Pubali Bank for their thoughtful donation. He remarked, “By supporting the transport facilities of an educational institution, Pubali Bank has set a commendable example of educational and social responsibility. Such initiatives send a positive message not only to the academic community but to society at large.”

Also present at the ceremony were Professor Dr. Md. Mahmudur Rahman, Registrar (In-Charge); Professor Dr. Md. Shariful Islam, Student Welfare Advisor; Professor Dr. Md.
