A weeklong football tournament titled "Copa Del Civil 17" was held at "Osmani Hall, BUTEX, Dhaka" from 19^th May to 26^th May 2017. It was organized by AUST Civil Engineering Society (ACES). A total of 12 teams distributed evenly across four groups played in the tournament. Matches at group level were held from 19^th to 25^th May. The semi-finals and final were held on 26^th May. Students participated in all the matches with utmost enthusiasm. The eventual champions were the students of 3^rd Year 1^st Semester after an intense match between the two semesters of 3^rd year. The Closing and Prize Giving Ceremony was conducted in the evening after the final match was played. Prof. Dr. Mahmudur Rahman, Head of the Department, Department of Civil Engineering, was present as the Chief Guest on the final day. He gave the prizes among the players. In addition other faculty members were present throughout the tournament to supervise the matches. Prof. Mahmudur Rahman thanked the organizers, especially the student members of ACES for organizing a wonderful tournament and hoped for continuity of similar tournaments in future to enrich the extra-curricular activities of Civil Engineering department, AUST.
