A Farewell Program for outgoing students of Fall Semester-2014 was held on 2nd March 2015 at Prof. Dr. M.H. Khan Auditorium, AUST from 02:00 P.M. to 03:30 P.M. On behalf of AUST, honorable Vice-Chancellor accorded farewell to the outgoing students. Kazi Rafiqul Alam, President, Dhaka Ahsania Mission and Chairman, AUST Board of Trustees was present as the Chief Guest while Prof. Dr. M.H. Khan, Advisor of the University was the Special Guest on the Occasion but due to some urgent engagement he could not be  present in the ceremony. Prof. Dr.Kazi Shariful Alam, Treasur, AUST was present as the Guest of Honor. Prof. Dr. A.F.M Anwarul Haque, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. M.A. Muktadir, Dean, Faculty of Architecture and Planning,  Prof. Dr. Md. Amanullah, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. S.K. Biswas, Advisor, Students Welfare and Prof. Dr. M.Shahabuddin, Proctor of the University were also present on the Dias.

Heads of Departments, Teachers, Officers and outgoing students attended the ceremony.

The Program started with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Mr.Jakaria Rahimi, Asst.Professor, EEE. At the beginning, one outgoing students from each Department spoke on their experiences in this University. They expressed their gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor and Teachers for giving them an academic environment and for imparting quality education during their stay in this University. They also appreciated the teachers for their devotion in careful guidance which they will not forget.

Proctor of the University Prof. Dr. M. Shahabuddin  wished the out-going students all the best in their up-coming lives. Then Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Planning Prof. Dr. M.A. Muktadir  in his speech mentioned that  students came here with a special purpose to acquire knowledge and establish themselves in their profession . He expected  that these students of Ahsanullah University will bring success at every spare of their lives and  expressed that his prayers will always be with his students.

 In his speech Prof. Dr. Md. Amanullah, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Social Science  emphasized on two issues. First one is  graduate students have to create their  own network and they should learn innovative management. He also expressed that engineering  students should have these both qualities. He claimed that Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology shouldn't be next to BUET , it should be the best institution for Engineering.

Dean of the Faculty of  Engineering Prof. Dr.A.F.M Anwarul Haque reminded the students that they have  spent here 4 years that should  built confidence in them. He wished them all the best  success in life. Treasurer  AUST Prof. Dr. Kazi Shariful Alam mentioned that AUST  tried to give to the students  best education in their past  4 years . Now they will face job market which is the place for competition    and they have to win their position in that. The door of Ahsanullah University will always be open to them. We have masters program in Civil and EEE Departments and soon Architecture Department will launch Masters Program. Students get admitted to Masters Program here or they can also have MBA  Degree from this University. He also emphasized that it is not necessary that they all have to go for job but they can create your own job.  Lastly  he  thanked all and wished them  the best.

Kazi Rafiqul Alam, President, Dhaka Ahsania Mission and Chairman, AUST Board of Trustees advised the students in his speech that it is not the end of their educational life rather it is the beginning  of their educational life. They have to learn to work and give the fruit to the society. He said, ``though you are going to leave AUST as graduates, you must remember the contribution of the teachers who have imparted you quality education. The reputation of AUST  depends on you. . You enjoyed your student life but if you don't maintain discipline you may ruin your  life. You are going to be the useful part of the society you have to have  an exemplary life in Society and the knowledge you acquire will lead you to that kind of life. Finally he wished them all the best in life.

Honorable Vice-Chancellor said, ``This is the memorable day of your life. You have worked hard during you stay here in AUST to achieve your degree. You came here with a big dream and luck,  because all who applied did not  get the opportunity to be the students of AUST.  If you want to succeed in life you have to understand what is success. Is it getting a good job, earning money or enhancing your quality of life. You should think about these. Education is a life long process you have just started your education and will continue through out your life . Your good behavior will enhance the reputation of AUST, keep this in your mind. You now have to show your good performance locally and globally and show  your leadership quality in the society. The job market is now globalized and to get a better job you have to compete with the skilled people at home and abroad. So be ready to accept the challenge from this moment
