Mahmudul Haque (Student ID - 20200204006) and Meherunnesa Hossain Ibnath (Student ID - 20200204101), two students of CSE Department have been awarded the ‘Khondaker Ahmed Muktadir and Mosammat Khodeza Begum Scholarship’ in the Fall 2023 semester. This was the third iteration of the scholarship awarding program.

In a brief scholarship awarding ceremony arranged at the conference room of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, Vice-Chancellor of AUST, warmly congratulated the awardees for their achievements. Chairman of the Board of Trustees Prof. Dr. Golam Rahman handed over a cheque of BDT 18,000/- to each of the recipients. Among the dignitaries, Prof. Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Treasurer of AUST, Prof. Dr. Md. Shahriar Mahbub, Head of the CSE Department, Prof. Dr. S.M.A. Al-Mamun, Prof. Dr. Kazi A Kalpoma, Prof. Dr. Md. Shamim Akhter, Mr. Md. Khairul Hasan, Associate Professor of CSE, Mr. Md. Moinul Hoque, Associate Professor of CSE, and Mr. Md. Masudur Rahman, Assistant Professor of the CSE department were present in the ceremony. The participants collectively extended their congratulations to the scholarship recipients for their outstanding achievements.

It's worth mentioning that AUST has established a trust fund of taka 10 lacs for the awarding of the scholarships, known as the ‘Khondaker Ahmed Muktadir and Mosammat Khodeza Begum Scholarship’. It was funded by a generous donator Mr. Gaohar Ahmed.

Every semester, two students from the 4^th year 1^st semester of the CSE department are selected for the scholarships based on merit, reflecting their academic performances up to the 3^rd year 2^nd semester
