Memorandum of Understanding signing between Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology and Edith Cowan University, WA, Australia.


The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and Edith Cowan University (ECU), WA, Australia was held on October 4, 2023. The event took place at the VC Seminar Room of AUST, and it was graced by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Honorable Vice Chancellor, AUST, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, AUST and Prof. Dr. Mustafizur Rahman, Treasurer, AUST. Dr Syed Mohammed Shamsul Islam, Senior Lecturer (Computer Science) was present as the representative from Edith Cowan University, WA. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hamidur Rahman Khan, Registrar (In-charge), Prof. Dr. Tareq Aziz, Head, Department of EEE, Prof. Dr. Md. Ashrafur Rahman, Head, Department of Arts and Sciences, senior faculty members from the Department of EEE were present in the event.

MoU between ECU and AUST will be of mutual benefit and will contribute to a continuing institutional linkage for co-operation and assistance in the field of education and research. MoU with ECU will also open a new range of activities that could include development of programs and services in explicit areas of mutual interest including seminars, workshops, conferences, collaborative research projects. It also aims to open mobility opportunities for staff and students for internship and collective research activities. In the ceremony, both parties agreed to work together to promote sustainable partnerships and mutual understanding in the upcoming years.
