Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice Chancellor with his team from AUST made a courtesy visit to congratulate Prof. Dr. Kazi Shahidullah, Chairman, UGC on his reappointment and informed him about AUST vision including various achievements of AUST. During the discussion it has been emphasized on the importance of interdisciplinary research and enhancement of quality education. 

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Pro Vice-Chancellor, and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director IQAC, AUST also met Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, Member of UGC and Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, Member UGC to congratulate on their reappointments.

Prof. Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain informed the team about SMART Bangladesh for Industry 4.0, and discussed the educational challenges and job opportunities for skilled graduates in coming days. AUST team thanked Prof. Dr. Md. Sazzed Hossain for his contribution during COVID-19 pandemic for online based education system.

During the meeting with Prof. Dr. Muhammed Alamgir who also appreciated AUST efforts for quality education and thanked AUST authority for its ongoing research activities. 

The team from AUST finally met Prof. Dr. Biswajit Chandra Chanda, Member UGC and fruitful discussion took place about academic activities, research for local and international projects and publications. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi thanked him for his cooperation regarding the approval of the DANIDA funded projects such as SusLeather and CREATE.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice Chancellor also thanked UGC officials for their support and cooperation to implement outcome based education.
