Farewell

Farewell program, Fall 2016


Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) organized a farewell to the outgoing students of Fall 2016 in Prof. Dr. M.H.Khan Auditorium of AUST on February 16, 2014.

President, Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) and Chairman, AUST Board of Trustees Mr. Kazi Rafiqul Alam addressed the program as chief guest and Professor Dr. A.M.M. Safiullah Vice-Chancellor, AUST chaired the program. Prof. Dr. M. H. Khan, Advisor and Prof. Dr. Kazi Shariful Alam, Treasurer of the university were present as special guests on this occasion.

In his address, Mr. Kazi Rafiqul Alam asked the students to work as an ambassador of AUST at all layers of the country and abroad. He advised the students to be sincere in works whatever they do and suggested to enlighten the society by the knowledge they achieved over the last few years.

AUST Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A.M.M. Safiullah congratulated the students and advised saying "Time has come to assess the qualitative changes made in you. You will now face the real world. In school, teacher gives you a lesson and you solve a problem, in life you solve a problem that teaches you a lesson. Through this process you will achieve wisdom. You have to feel the demand of the society, to serve them and that will lead to your success." He further said, "Actually you have just started learning and you will continue it all your life. If you really want to get a successful life, you need to be good, honest and caring for the people around you."

Prof. Dr. M.H. Khan, Advisor of the university said "Life is tough and you have to spread your thinking capability. We tried to pass on the knowledge as much as we could affectionately like your parents. But your employer will not do that. You have to roam around places where life is more challenging. Try to stay focused and look professionally in your job."

AUST Treasurer Prof. Dr. Kazi Shariful Alam said "Though we are bidding farewell to you but it’s a day of celebration for us as you are leaving but leaving with the identity of AUST with you wherever you go." He prayed the students for a very successful and healthy life and told the students always to be associated with the university as they have become members of AUST family.

One outgoing student of each department also spoke and shared experience as student at AUST. The program was attended by Deans, Heads of the Departments, Advisor of Students Welfare, Proctor, teachers, officers, staffs and guests.
