On 31^st December, 2012, the final session of 'Intra-university Debate Competition 2012' was successfully held on the seminar room at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) with the presence of Prof. Dr. A. M. M. Shafiullah, Vice-Chancellor of this university, Prof. Dr. Kazi Shariful Alam, Treasurer of AUST, Prof. Dr. S.A.M. Abdullah Al Mamun, Head, Dept. of CSE. 

The 'AUST CSE Society' arranged this competition titled on 'Independence through Logic'. It is informed that six team from different department participated in the competition, and 'CSE-10' and 'MPE-Prottush' were on the final round. The 'MPE-Prottush' team has been proud of being champion. 

The Judges were Abdullah Md. Shurana, Sanaullah Haque Himel along with M. Azad Querishi. The finalist debaters from team 'MPE-Prottush' are: Golam Mostafa Nayeem, Pritom Chakkraborty, Fazle Mahbub Joy and from team 'CSE-10' are: Mayesha Tasnim, Sifan Nayeem Ovi, Tasnia Rahman.
