Blood Donation

Report on blood donation program held on 10th & 11th August, 2016


A Two daylong Blood Donation Program, jointly organized by Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST) and Quantum Foundation, Dhaka was held on 10th and 11th August, 2016 from 10.00 AM to 04.00PM at the Boys Common Room ground of AUST. Total 102 bags of whole blood were donated in this program. Out of those 102 donors, 91 were male students & 11 were female students.

Mr. Sheikh Md. Foisal, Co-ordinator of Quantum Foundation & Dr. Ahmad Munir Hussain, M.O. AUST supervised the whole program. A good number of Volunteers of Quantum Foundation worked in the campus throughout the whole day and motivated the students for blood donation as a result of which such a good quantity of Blood could be collected. Department of Students Welfare, AUST extended its full support to make the program successful.
