Blood Donation

Report on blood donation program held on 23rd November, 2017


A daylong Blood Donation Program, jointly organized by Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST) and Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation, Dhaka was held on 23rd November, 2017 from 09.00 AM to 05.00PM at the Boys' Common Room ground of AUST.

Total 104 bags of whole blood were donated in this program. Out of those 104 donors 75 were male students & 29 were female students.

Mr. Rubayet Ahmed, Manager, Blood Donation Program & Dr. Shobnom Zerin, Medical Officer of Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation along with their team conducted the Blood Donation Program. Dr. Ahmad Munir Hussain, M.O. AUST supervised the whole program on behalf of Department of Students' Welfare, AUST that extended its full support to make the program successful.

Prof. Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury,  Adviser  of Students' Welfare, AUST along with the Medical Officer, AUST visited the Blood donation camp and encouraged the donors.
