TEAM RED-X (2017) Team Red-X is the first team from Bangladesh which completing the valid run in Shell Eco-marathon Asia (SEMA).


“Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2017” at Singapore

Team RED-X, comprised of eight members from Mechanical Engineering program of MPE department, had participated in “Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2017” which was held at Singapore. The team possessed exceptional work in vehicle design, fabrication, testing, and accomplished the first ever valid run from any Bangladeshi team with an energy efficiency of 42.5 km/L in the Urban Concept Gasoline category. In total, 123 teams from 20 countries participated in that competition and Team RED-X stood 9th in their category. This was an outstanding achievement for the university as well as for Bangladesh.
