A Day-long program was organized for Reception and Orientation for Fall Semester-2018 of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology. The program was held in two phases at M.H Khan Auditorium on 02^nd January 2019. Founder VC and Advisor of AUST Prof. Dr. M. H Khan graced the program as the Chief Guest while Pro-VC (in charge) and Treasurer Prof Dr. Kazi Shariful Alam honored the admitted students with his presence as Special Guest. The program was chaired by Prof. Dr. A.M.M Safiullah, Vice-Chancellor of AUST.

Dr. M.H Khan, Honorable Chief Guest welcomed all the newly admitted students. He told that you are the future ambassador of AUST. Signifying the learning time in University he cited that it obviously cannot be equalized like school or college curricular. He emphasized on Regularity and sound efforts of the students to bring success. He called upon to the new students that be big but remember on the way of looking forward Malevolence friendship and irregularity can tarnish the students image. You the people flush your life, family life as well as image of the country. He wished all success.

Prof Dr. Kazi Shariful Alam, Special Guest welcomed the future change maker of the country to the AUST. He told that your dream comes true as you have proved your talent getting chance at AUST. Now you are in the final phase of reflecting yourself through hard working and perseverance. AUST will extend its whole hearted attempt through the years. He informed and inspired the students through a power point presentation on Hazrat Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah (R) in detail. He wished their success.

Prof. Dr. A. M. M Safiullah, Chair of the two sessions welcomed all enrolled students at AUST.  He echoed the same hope to the enrolled students stating that you are now the students of AUST. As this is outset of your life and border less area of acquiring knowledge. Having finished your Pedagogy epoch you are to turn to the andragogy. Now the World is open for you. He asked the students to develop themselves with a creative outlook. He gave importance saying that vision, integrity and strength of character can reach you to the pinnacle of success. He wished them a bright career and success in life.

Deans of Faculties, Heads of the Deptt., Registrar, Controller of Examinations, Proctor, ASW also spoke on the various issues of rules and regulations as well as guideline awareness while studying in University. Academic, discipline, and extra co-curricular activities of the university were also highlighted to the students. Few newly admitted students expressed their happy feelings of getting chance at AUST. Among others Teachers, Officers and Students were present. The program was anchored by Advisor of Students Welfare of AUST.
