MoU signed between AUST and Sincos Group


Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and Sincos Group, a leading turnkey Industrial and Process Automation solution provider in Bangladesh, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on July 10, 2024, to foster collaboration in the field of Industry 4.0. The signing ceremony took place at the VC conference room of AUST.

The MoU aims to establish a framework for cooperation between the two organizations in areas such as joint research, student internships, and capacity building. This strategic partnership is expected to provide valuable opportunities for faculty members and students of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at AUST to gain hands-on experience in the latest industrial automation technologies.

Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Vice Chancellor (in charge) of AUST, and Prof. Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Treasurer (in charge), graced the occasion with their kind presence. Prof. Dr. Tareq Aziz, Head of the department, along with several other esteemed faculty members from the Department of EEE and Mr. Md. Muniruzzaman, Registrar (Acting) were present in he MoU signing ceremony. Sincos Group was represented by Mr. Naasik Akkas, Director, Sincos Group and Mr. Rakibul Hasan, Manager, Sincos Group.

Both parties expressed their enthusiasm for the collaboration and emphasized on the potential benefits. The MoU marks a significant milestone in AUST's commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry, ensuring its graduates to be well-equipped to meet the challenges of the modern workforce. This partnership is expected to contribute significantly to the advancement of Industry 4.0 in Bangladesh and create new avenues for research, innovation, and skill development.
