Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) has officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Insaf Barakah Kidney & General Hospital Ltd. (IBKGH). This strategic partnership aims to provide high-quality medical services at subsidized rates to the AUST community.
The agreement was formalized during a signing ceremony held at the Vice Chancellor’s Conference Room. Prof. Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Treasurer and Pro-VC (In-charge) of AUST, and Md. Altaf Hossain, Additional Managing Director of IBKGH, signed the document on behalf of their respective institutions.

Comprehensive Healthcare Benefits Under the terms of this MoU, AUST faculty, Staff and their family members and Students and their parents are eligible for significant discounts on a wide range of medical services at IBKGH.
The benefit package includes:
* Pathology & Imaging: 40% discount on all Pathological tests and 35% on Imaging services (Outdoor).
* Specialized Diagnostics: 30% discount on ETT and Spirometry; 25% on FibroScan (Outdoor).
* Hospitalization: 10% discount on bed rent, service charges, ICU, and HDU charges.
* General Services: 10% discount on Emergency fees, Dental, Physiotherapy, and
Ambulance services.
* Pharmacy: 6% discount on all locally manufactured (Bangladeshi) medicines.

The ceremony was attended by several eminent dignitaries of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST). Among those present were the Vice Chancellor, the Dean of Engineering, the Dean of Architecture, and the Dean of Business and Social Science. Also in attendance were the Heads of various Departments and Schools, the Advisor for Students’ Welfare, the Proctor, and the University’s Medical Officer.
Representing IBKGH, a delegation comprising senior officials was also present at the event. The delegation included Dr. Siraj Uddin, Deputy Superintendent; Md. Hafijur Rahaman, Assistant General Manager; Md. Nazrul Islam Shawon, Director; Hossain Md. Dulal, Assistant Manager (Marketing and Media); and Md. Hero Miah, Senior Executive (Corporate).
