A two-day Winter Folk Fest Season, organized by the AUST Cultural Club, was successfully held at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST). The festival concluded on Monday, 19 January 2026.

The event was inaugurated on Sunday, 18 January 2026 by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Treasurer and Pro Vice-Chancellor (In-Charge), Professor Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Proctor Professor Dr. Md. Ashrafur Rahman, Student Welfare Advisor Professor Dr. Md. Shariful Islam, members of the AUST Cultural Club, and a large number of students.

The festival was marked by enthusiastic participation from students and was held in a lively and festive atmosphere. Through the celebration of winter folk culture and traditions, the event added a vibrant dimension to campus life at AUST.
