MoU Signing Ceremony Between the Department of CSE, AUST, and Augmedix Bangladesh


A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), and Augmedix Bangladesh on October 15, 2025, in the VC Conference Room. The ceremony marked the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed at fostering academic–industry partnerships, skill development, and research opportunities in technology-driven healthcare innovation.

On behalf of the Department of CSE, AUST, the MoU was signed by Professor Dr. Md. Shamim Akhter, Head of the Department. Representing Augmedix Bangladesh, Mr. Rashed Noman, Country Managing Director, signed the agreement.

The event was graced by Professor Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, Vice Chancellor of AUST, as the Chief Guest. Professor Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Treasurer of AUST; Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Matin, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, AUST, and Mr. Md. Muniruzzaman, Deputy Registrar, were also present on the occasion. Faculty members from the Department of CSE, including Professor Dr. S. M. A. Al-Mamun, Professor Dr. Kazi A. Kalpoma, Associate Professor Md. Khairul Hasan, and Associate Professor Md. Moinul Hoque attended the event and expressed their enthusiasm for this partnership.

From Augmedix Bangladesh, Mr. Aflatun Kaisar, Head of People, Ms. Shakira Mustahid, Senior People Partner, and Ms. Iqra Ahmed Owhee, People Partner, were present during the signing ceremony.

The MoU signing reflects a shared commitment between the Department of CSE at AUST and Augmedix Bangladesh to bridge the gap between academia and industry by creating pathways for student engagement, professional training, and innovation-led collaboration at the intersection of technology and healthcare.
