"Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signed Between AUST and Spectrum Engineering Consortium Ltd. to Foster Collaboration"


Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and Spectrum Engineering Consortium Ltd., a leading IT solutions and Robotics R&D company of Bangladesh have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 12th June 2024 to advance robotics and automation research and bridge the gap between industry and academia.

The MoU signing ceremony was attended by the esteemed faculty from the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering (MPE) of AUST, including Prof. Dr. A N Mostafizul Karim, Head of the Department; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director of IQAC; Prof. Dr. Dewan Hasan Ahmed, Director of the Research and Publication Office (RPO) and Member Secretary (In-Charge) of CASR and Prof. Nurul Absar Chowdhury, alongside representatives from Spectrum, including Managing Director Frokan Bin Qashem, Director Rashed Mujib Noman, Lead Engineer Raihan Ur Rashid, Embedded System Engineer Fiaz Ahmed, and Industrial Design Engineer Fahim Ahmad at the MPE conference room.

By fostering this partnership, the two organizations aim to create a dynamic environment where students, researchers, and industry professionals can collaborate to develop innovative technologies. The Department of MPE will work closely with Spectrum Engineering Consortium Ltd., combining their academic strengths with Spectrum’s industry-leading expertise in robotics and automation. This collaboration is expected to contribute significantly to the areas such as robotic systems, automation in manufacturing, and AI-driven solutions, which are expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of industrial processes.
