The AUST Textile Society organized a colorful festival named 'Texamity' on February 5, 2024, at The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB), powered by Batch-40 and 45. The event aimed at bidding farewell to the graduating batch-39 as well as welcoming the fresher’s batch-46.

The festival was honored by the distinguished presence of Mr. Emdadul Haque, Head, Department of Textile Engineering, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Lal Mohan Baral as the special guest.

Moreover, Engr. Jashim Uddin, Technical Manager of LAM Chemical Supplies, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

They brought invaluable insights and inspiration to the event. Our esteemed guests delivered impactful speeches, motivating students to strive for excellence in both their academic and professional pursuits. Additionally, they shared insights about the new stream 'Sustainability in the Textile Industry' with the students.

During the event, a new logo for the Chair of Sustainability and Textile Innovation was inaugurated. At the event, the AUST Textile Society's Vice-President Mr. Abdullah Fariz and General Secretary Mr. Shafqat Ullah Samin shared their feelings.

The souvenir from the graduating batch was unveiled by Mr. Emdadul Haque, the President of AUST Textile Society, alongside Prof. Dr. Lal Mohan Baral and Joyjit Ghosh, the Treasurer of AUST Textile Society.

Awards for academic excellence and extracurricular activities were promptly presented by the AUST Textile Society.

Both the departing and incoming batches equally enjoyed the cultural program organized by current students.
