MoU signed between AUST and BCC


A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC). The MoU was signed at the conference Room, BCC on Thursday, October 09, 2023. Prof. Dr. Md. Mustafizur Rahman, Treasurer, AUST, and A. K. M. Shahnewaj Chowdhury, Director (Research, Innovation and Development), Bangladesh Computer Council, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice-Chancellor, AUST and Ranajit Kumar, Executive Director, Bangladesh Computer Council, were present during the signing ceremony.

According to the MoU both BCC and AUST agreed to carry out joint research projects, sharing expertise, developing training programs, assisting entrepreneurs, technology transfer, and joint technology development among the parties. The MoU also includes the triangular research for solving industry related problems in Bangladesh using robotics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and fostering facilities for digitization of manufacturing and productivity enhancements.   

Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed, Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Professor of Industrial and Production Engineering, Department of MPE, AUST; Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed Choudhury, Director, Centre of Excellence (CoE): Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship, Professor, Department of MPE, AUST; and Prof. Dr. Md. Shahriar Mahbub, Head, CSE, AUST and high officials of BCC also were present during the signing ceremony.
