A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and Bangladesh Industrial Technical Assistance Center (BITAC). The MoU was signed at the AUST campus on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman, Pro Vice-Chancellor, AUST, and Dr. Syed Md. Ihsanul Karim, Director (HQ), BITAC, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi, Vice-Chancellor, AUST and Mr. Anwar Hossain Chowdhury, Director General, BITAC, were present during the signing ceremony.

Prof. Dr. Mazharul Islam, Head, Department of MPE, AUST, Prof. Dr. Dewan Hasan Ahmed, Professor, Department of MPE, Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed Choudhury, Professor, Department of MPE and other Teachers of MPE Department and high officials of BITAC also were present during the signing ceremony.
