Glorious Victory and Martyred Intellectuals Day observed at AUST


Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology observed National Victory Day and Martyred Intellectuals day paying homage and tribute to the valiant freedom fighters as well as millions of Martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for making a Bangladesh a free nation in the map of the world. The Program was held at M. H Khan Auditorium on last 13th December'17. Honorable Vice Chancellor of AUST Prof. Dr. A.M.M. Safiullah presided over the open discussion program on Martyred Intellectuals and glorious victory Days and its history in details conducted by ASW of AUST. In his discussion Prof Dr. A. M.M Safiullah firstly prayed for the departed souls of the greatest sons of the nation and narrated the difficult and insecure of life threatening situation we had to pass our daily life in the face of torture by the Pakistani Military. No life was safe. In spite of having such challenges our best sons of this country freedom fighters sacrificed their life to gain a free nation as we can loudly say we are independent now. Beside this he mentioned and emphasized on the ethical values and constructive planning for today's young for our next generation to cherish and fulfill the dream of those sacrificed their life. The whole nation responded to the call of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman all to fight against Pakistani Military. Among others Deans of the Faculties, Heads of the Deptt., Registrar, ASW and students also spoke.

In the second session a vibrant cultural program was arranged by the Students of AUST in an entertaining motion. Singing National Anthem was the starting event of that program. Recitation, Dance, Solo and Duet songs and chorus songs on Patriotism were continued in remembrance of our victory an extremely large gathering of academics, officials, faculty members and Students enjoyed the cultural program.
