We would like to express our deep sympathy and grief at the demise of eminent architect, freedom fighter, activist and former president of IAB, Ar. Mubasshar Hussain. He passed away on Monday (2.1.23) while undergoing treatment. He was an honorable external expert member of the “AUST Faculty Recruitment Committee” and taught “Professional Practice” course to the undergraduate students of architecture at AUST for many years. He encouraged the students and faculty members by sharing his expert knowledge, experience and views in different design jury sessions and on different occasions. He will be remembered by the AUST family for his hard work, dedication and love for the people of Bangladesh.
