Workshop of Aalborg-AUST Research Project held


An Intervention Workshop on  PRODUCTIVITY & OHS organised  by Aalborg-AUST Research Project was held at BRAC CDM, Gazipur. (10th -11th October, 2017). Prof. Dr. Md. Amanullah, Project Leader (Bangladesh) &Head, SOB, AUST presided over the function. He emphasized on the efforts of  the DANIDA of Denmark which has funded a large scale research project for investigation and developing workplace health, safety and productivity of garments industries in Bangladesh. He appriciated and welcomed all to make timely demanded outline for the Garments Sector of Bangladesh succesful.

Prof. Dr. Peter Hasle, Project Leader (Denmark), Aalborg University, mentioned that In collaborations with my esteemed colleagues at AUST and generously financed by DANIDA, we are undertaking an investigation on how operations management including Lean tools can be transformed and used in the context of the Bangladeshi garment so that this transformation can be successful.
