School of Business arranged an Industrial Tour for the 44th batch of the BBA Program


As a co-curricular activity, School of Business of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology arranged an Industrial Tour for the 44th batch of the BBA Program to augment their theoretical knowledge with real-life industrial exposure. The tour was held on January 27, 2024. A group of 95 students visited Akij Food & Beverage Ltd. (AFBL) in Barobaria, Dhamrai, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The tour was guided by the four faculty members of the School of Business: Professor Dr. Wahiduzzaman Khan, Head, School of Business; Assistant Professor Mr. Md. Shak Forid; and Lecturer Ms. Afrin Sultana, Lecturer Musfika Jannat Mamata. Students were experienced with practical knowledge of the production and management systems of Akij Food & Beverage Ltd. (AFBL)’s manufacturing unit in Barobaria, Dhamrai.

A.N.M Kharullah, Head of Admin; A.S.M Shihabul Huda, Assistant General Manager (Quality Control); Mir Md. Kawser Islam Mithu, Head of Sugar and ETP Operation; and Md. Kamrul Hasan, Assistant Manager, CSD among others, met with the students and addressed all of their inquiries. They gave the pupils greater value by imparting to them their insightful opinions and business experiences. Under the observation of senior corporate leaders, the students observed the entire production system.
