AUST Civil Engineering Society (ACES) organized a cultural event named 'AUST Civilian's Elegant Evening' on March 19, 2022 at AUST premise. The event was arranged to bid farewell to the outgoing students and to greet welcome to the newly admitted students of the Department of Civil Engineering. The President of ACES and the honorable Head of the Department Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury graced the event as Chief Guest. The event started with the recitation from the holy Quran. After that the students from both outgoing batch and newly admitted batch shared their feelings with the audience. Treasurer of ACES Mr. Shafiqul Islam thanked the members of ACES and the students for arranging such a wonderful event within this short period of time. The honorable Head of the Department Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury instructed the students to consult with their respective advisors for any kind of academic and as well as personal problems. He advised the outgoing students to uphold the dignity of the university at job field after their graduation. He also advised them to maintain close collaboration with the Alumni of the Department and to arrange some knowledge and experience sharing event with them. In the next session, the honorable Head of the Department Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury handed over the crests to the class representatives of newly admitted batch as well as all the outgoing students and with this the formal session of the ceremony came to an end.

After that session, the cultural event was unveiled with bright bluster where the students of Civil Engineering Department took active part in. The dais was enchanted with singing, dance performance, drama and many more. Finally, the event ended up at 7:30 PM leaving the marks of emotion and memory among them.
