A team from the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering (Industrial and Production Engineering program) at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) has achieved a remarkable milestone at the 15^th Annual International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM) Singapore!

Competing against teams from universities across 50 different countries, the AUST team secured 3^rd place in the Human Factors and Ergonomics Competition segment, which was hosted at the 15^th Annual IEOM International Conference in Singapore, held at Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).

The competition recognized outstanding case studies in areas such as human factors, occupational ergonomics, industrial accidents, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance (OSHA & NIOSH guidelines). Teams were evaluated based on the technical content and presentation of their research.
