Prime Minister Gold Medal-2017 Awardee of AUST


Anika Sayara, student of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering, was awarded "Prime Minister Gold Medal-2017" for her outstanding success. Sheikh Hasina, the Hon'ble Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh presented gold medals to the university students at the Prime Minister Office in Shapla Hall on last 25th July;18. A total of 163 talented students from public and private universities who secured highest CGPA got "Prime Minister Gold Medal-2017" for their outstanding achievements in their respective faculties. Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid, MP, Honorable Education Minister and Mr. Md. Sohrab Hossain, Secretary, Secondary and Higher Education Directorate, Ministry of Education were present as Special Guest. The program was chaired by Professor Abdul Mannan, Chairman, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. This is to be mentioned that Anika Sayara scored CGPA 3.983 out of 4. Vice-Chancellor of AUST Prof. Dr. A.M.M. Safiullah was also present in that program by special invitation. Treasurer, Deans, Heads of the Departments and Teachers of AUST wished for her admirable success.
