A group of Students from Dept. of CSE, AUST Participated "World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD), 2018" at Osmani Milonayoton Auditorium


A group of students from the department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, with their course teacher Ms. Raqeebir Rab, Assistant Professor of CSE Dept. attended a program "World Telecommunication & Information Society Day (WTISD), 2018" that held on 17th May, 2018 at 10.00 am in Osmani Milonayoton Auditorium. In observance of the "World Telecommunication & Information Society Day (WTISD), 2018" in a befitting manner, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology organized this program. The theme of WTISD'18 was "Enabling the positive use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for All". The purpose of 2018 theme was to allow the members of International telecommunication Union (ITU) around the world and other key stakeholders to focus on the opportunities for how AI can help to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. Honorable Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Mostofa Jabbar was chief guest on the event. Academics, ICT experts, representatives of mobile phone operators and officials concerned took part in the program.
