Students from level -4, term -2 visited Ar. Nahas Ahmed Khalil’s office.


Students from level -4, term -2 visited the office of prominent architect Ar. Nahas Ahmed Khalil at Dhanmondi on 30/11/2022. Ar. Nahas Ahmed Khalil delivered a lecture on naturally ventilated building in the context of Bangladesh. In this session he focused on how our environment and social context guide the design process of our residential buildings. He also showed local examples designed by him where he incorporates different design ideas to allow natural air and light. After the lecture students enthusiastically discussed different design issues to him in the Q/A session. The studio teachers Ar. Naimul Aziz, Dibbendu Saha and Imran Ebne Amin also accompanied the students.
