AUST Delegation Strengthens Ties with Industry During Visit to Cybernetics Hi-Tech Solutions


On September 22, 2024, a distinguished delegation from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) visited the Research and Development Lab of Cybernetics Hi-Tech Solutions, a division of Spectrum Engineering Consortium Ltd. The visit was part of an ongoing initiative to enhance industry-academia collaborations and open new avenues for student and faculty engagement in real-world engineering applications.

The AUST delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Md Ashraful Hoque, the Vice Chancellor, and included prominent figures such as, Pro-Vice Chancellor; Prof Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman; Dr. A N Mustafizul Karim, Head of the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering (MPE); Prof. Dr. Md Sarwar Morshed, Professor of MPE Department and Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC); Dr. Dewan Hasan Ahmed, professor from MPE Department; and Ms. Prattusha Bhattacharjee and Ms. Mir Ramisha Bari, Lecturer (G-II) from MPE Department.

During the visit, key personnel from Cybernetics Hi-Tech Solutions, including Forkan Bin Quasem, Managing Director; Mushfiqur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Business Development; and Raihan Razeen, Lead Engineer of the R&D team, shared insights on the latest trends and technologies shaping the future of engineering. The discussion emphasized mutual commitment to fostering innovation, enhancing collaborative research, and accelerating developments in the engineering sector.

This collaborative effort marks a significant step toward bridging the gap between academic learning and industry demands, preparing AUST’s students and faculty to contribute effectively to the evolving engineering landscape.
