The Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree (B.Sc in ME) of Mechanical and Production Engineering (MPE) department of AUST is accredited by the Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE), Dhaka, Bangladesh on 12 July 2018 for next three years.

The accreditation of Mechanical Engineering degree (B.Sc in ME) of MPE, AUST reflects the academic standard, quality, strength of faculty members and labs, as well as excellent educational environment in the AUST campus. It will enhance the acceptance and recognition of AUST Mechanical Engineering degree program in the educational institutions, as well as academic, research and scientific communities in board and home. The AUST graduates of Mechanical Engineering Program are eligible to apply membership of Institution of Engineers of Bangladesh (IEB) to exchange the ideas and views among engineering communities and also to explore the resources of IEB.
