Blood Donation

Blood Donation Camp at AUST


A daylong Blood Donation Program, jointly organized by Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation, Dhaka was held on 18th July, 2018 from 10.00 AM to 05.00 PM at the Boy's Common Room ground of AUST. Total 92 bags of whole blood were donated in this program. Out of those 92 donors, 56 were male students and 36 were female students.

Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation offered vaccination against a number of diseases to all blood donors. On succession of this program, Foundation of South Society was presented with a crest. Dr. S.M Abul Kalam, M.O AUST and Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation, supervised the whole program. A good number of Volunteers worked in the campus throughout the whole day and motivated the students for blood donation.

Department of Students' Welfare, AUST extended its full support to make the program successful. Prof. Dr. Sharmin Reza Chowdhury, Advisor of Students' Welfare, AUST along with the Medical Officer, AUST visited the Blood donation camp and encouraged the donors.
