IMechE is a maverick alliance and academia of Mechanical engineers all around the world. IMechE has graced AUST through a student chapter known as the IMechE AUST Student Chapter. The motto of this student chapter is to maximize the promotion of engineering and stimulation of innovation by informing opinions on the evolution of the clique.
IMechE AUST Student Chapter has been established in 2022, under the direction of Professor Dr. Mohammad Sarwar Morshed of the Mechanical and Production Engineering Department of AUST. The IMechE AUST Student Chapter is working under the supervision of faculty advisor, Dr. Abu Hamja, Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering, AUST. Mr. Badhan Saha is our Moderator and Liaison Officer, who is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering, AUST. The IMechE AUST Student Chapter is an initiative taken by AUST with the IMechE International conservatoire where students can prepare for their careers and gain dynamic practical skills.
IMechE AUST Student Chapter can help students nourish their soft skills, develop their leadership skills, manage their mental health, time and studies, explore different project building and simulations, get deeper ideas about industrial works by doing attachments and workshops.
