The inaugural seminar of Fall 2022, titled "Necessity of Quality Issues and Entrepreneurial Mindset in Manufacturing Industries," marked a collaboration between the IMechE AUST Student Chapter and IEOM Society AUST Student Chapter. The event featured distinguished guests including Dr. Engr. Syed Mohammad Ihsanul Karim, Dr. Engr. Md Mazharul Habib, and Mohammad Jahangir Alam from BITAC.

Commencing with an introductory speech by Chief Guest Prof Dr. Mazharul Islam, Head of the Department of MPE, the seminar delved into pertinent topics. Dr. Md Mazharul Habib provided insights into Total Quality Management (TQM), elaborating on research prospects, methodologies, and offering case studies to underscore its significance. Subsequently, Dr. Engr. Syed Mohammad Ihsanul Karim and Engr. Mohammad Jahangir Alam shed light on entrepreneurial mindset, elucidating motivations and the support mechanisms provided by BITAC and TTI for aspiring entrepreneurs. The session concluded with a speech by special guest Prof. Dr. Mohammad Sarowar Morshed, who emphasized the importance of the expertise shared by the speakers. Notably, the seminar fostered a highly interactive environment, engaging a substantial audience.
