Mechanical and Production Engineering

On February 25th, 2023, ASHRAE AUST Student Branch (AASB) arranged an Industrial Tour at NorthWest Power Generation Company Limited (NWPGCL) (NWPGCL). The visit was attended by 20 students and 2 faculty members of Mechanical and Production Engineering department.

We would like to thank Shafiqul Islam, chief engineer, North West Power Generation Company Ltd. for the warm reception and his wisdom that he shared through his speech which guided every participant along the way. We are indebted to the eminent supervisor Fomiq Ahmed, sub divisional engineer, unit- 01, Abdullah A1 Mamun, sub divisional engineer, unit-02 and Abdullah Mubin Chowdhury, sub divisional engineer, unit-03 who instructed the whole team during visit. Special thanks to our respective faculties Mr. Tahmidul Haque Ruvo and Mr. Yeadul Islam Sazal who helped to conduct the industrial visit successfully.The response and kind words from everyone have left us overwhelmingly ecstatic.
