ASHRAE AUST Student Branch organized an industrial visit at MAMPOWER Ltd on 4th February, 2023. MAMPOWER Ltd is one of the leading industries in Bangladesh for manufacturing transformers and switch gears. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the components that are used, the process and machines that are used to manufacture transformers and switch gears from the core. Circuit Breaker types and applications had also been discussed so nicely.

We would like to thank Engr. M.A. Repon Rahman, Manager (Testing & QC), along with Engr. MD. Rafikul Islam, Sr Engineer (Production, MCWL), Mampower Ltd. who guided us throughout the whole session and cleared our queries. Our gratitude goes to respected faculties who accompanied us throughout the visit. We would also like to thank Ashrae Bangladesh Chapter for introducing us with these professionals & creating opportunities to enlighten our knowledge in these sectors. Last but not the least, thanks to AASB committee members for arranging such technical visits for their student members.
