Mechanical and Production Engineering

On 31st January 2023, a Technical Session on HVAC&R was organized by ASHRAE AUST Student Branch. Our honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof.Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi sir and our special guest Prof.Dr. Mazharul Islam, Head of the Department of MPE of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology along with other respected faculty members made their graceful presence to oversee our event and shared such valuable words. We would like to thank our honourable speaker Engr. Faruque Ahmed, CEO & Principal Consultant of Air-Tech Engineers & Consultants, for presenting different aspects of HVAC&R and its design concepts to the students. Another honourable speaker and certified HVAC Designer Engr. Ershed Jaman Khan, CEO & Chief Designer of Electro Mechanical Control Service shared his expertise on Ventilation for healthier environment and explained about the ASHRAE & BNBC guidelines regarding the following topic. Over 100 students participated in the seminar and have shown their enthusiasm about HVAC&R. Also, Ashrae Bangladesh Chapter CTTC Chair Mr. Asif Hossain Rochy was present as a responsible person from ASHRAE Bangladesh Chapter to report the whole Tecnical Session for point scoring at Region level.

We would like to show our sincere gratitude to our Honorable Speakers, Chief Guest and Special Guest and other faculty members. We would also like to thank our Advisor Prof. Dr. Mahbubul Muttakin sir, Associate Professor of the Department Of MPE, AUST, for assisting to accomplish a successful event. All of their presence has encouraged to take such initiatives further.
