Mechanical and Production Engineering

On 30th June, 2022, an inaugural seminar on "Career Prospects of Engineering in HVAC&R Industry" was conducted by ASHRAE AUST Student Branch. It was such an insightful event for the students who have keen interest in building their career in HVAC&R industry as a fresh graduate. More than 100 students joined this seminar, mostly from departments like Mechanical & Production Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Architecture & Civil Engineering.

The kind presence and gracious words from our Chief guest Honorable Vice Chancellor of AUST Dr. Muhammad Fazli Ilahi Sir, Special guests Pro VC of AUST Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman Sir and Head of Dept, of MPE & ASHRAE AUST Student Branch Advisor Dr. Muhammad Sarwar Morshed Sir encouraged the students a lot and provided us with confidence regarding opportunities in HVAC industry. The special guests Engineer Al-Emran Hossain Sir (President of Bangladesh Green Building Academy and Secretary, ASHRAE Bangladesh Chapter), Engineer Md Kamruzzaman Sir (Chief Operating Officer, Taufika Foods & Lovello Ice Cream PLC) and Engineer Didarul Alam (Sr.DGM Operations, Protiva Group and Chair, Student Activity Committee, ASHRAE Bangladesh Chapter) made their graceful presence and shared such valuable words on career path in HVAC industry. Student branch advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Sarwar Morshed Sir and our Co-Advisor Mr. Sazedur Rahman Sir helped students greatly to conduct the event. ASHRAE AUST Student Branch are immeasurably sublimed for the very first successful event to be accomplished.
