Mechanical and Production Engineering

On October 11 2023, Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering has arranged a Workshop on "Analysis of CO and PO Attainments using IonCUDOS" on the VC Seminar room of AUST.

Prof Dr. Mazharul Islam, Head of the department of MPE ingruated the session by extending a warm welcome to the distinguished guest speaker, Mr. Mohammed Abdul Kaleem, Head of sales (International), IonIdea, India. Mr. Kaleem delivered the welcome address and provided a quick overview of the IonCUDOS software. Later the detailed training about the analysis of CO and PO attainments using IonCUDOS was conducted by Mr. Vinay Havalad, Team Lead, Software Product Engineer, IonIdea, India. via zoom platform. Faculty members from MPE Department and other departments were present in the workshop.

 

 

IonCUDOS – Outcome Based Education Software is an innovative software platform, that is designed to address all the challenges institutions typically face when adopting and implementing OBE through manual processes.

This mainly focuses on curriculum design enabling faculties to create appropriate lesson plan, frame COs and mapping COs to POs and frame question banks. The curriculum delivery and assessment methods followed by the institutions will be intact and the software platform is compatible with all the delivery and assessment methods followed by the institutions and generates reports for students’ attainment, course outcome (CO) attainment, program outcome (PO) attainment and program education objective (PEO).

IonCUDOS OBE platform helps institutionalizing OBE practices, achieving transparency, optimizing data inputs, standardizing computation of attainments, isolating areas for improvements, trends from large historical data from batches, and generating self-assessment report (SAR) in a timely manner.

 

 

This comprehensive training program equipped participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively implement OBE practices using the IonCUDOS software.
Following the presentation there was a question-answer session where the faculties expressed their concerns and gratitude to the speakers for the presentation.
