Mechanical and Production Engineering

On 15^th June, 2023, 34 students of 4^th year 2^nd semester of ME Program of MPE Department along with five faculty members visited Jenson & Nicholson (Bangladesh) Limited, a sister concern of Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited.

Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited owns 100 percent shares of Jenson & Nicholson (Bangladesh) Limited. Jenson & Nicholson (Bangladesh) Limited has been involved in the Metal Container’s business in Bangladesh since 1995. JNBL had set up the factory at Chattogram and extend its second unit at Dhaka. Over the decades, JNBL has evolved to become the leading Metal Container manufacturer in the country and has diversified into Paint, Lubricant oil, Engine oil, Hair oil, and Food Grade container. Recently JNBL has also invested in Fancy Container manufacturing, which is the first ever in Bangladesh.

On arrival, students got to visit the manufacturing facilities of the company. The students were supervised by the engineers and were given a brief about the whole production process and the quality management techniques, safety measures for food grade containers as they visited different production facilitates of the factory.
