Mechanical and Production Engineering

On 2^nd November 2022, a team comprised of Mr. Fahim Al Sazid and Ms. Akila Hasan Hitoishi from the 3^rd year, 2^nd semester of the IPE Program of the department of MPE topped the Student Chapter Global Design Competition organized by the IEOM Society International. Their “Modular Medical Bed” was the most innovative and pragmatic design of the competition. The winning team was awarded a prize of $1,000 for placing 1^st in the competition.
