Mechanical and Production Engineering

A group of four students, Jubayda Sultana (ID –20200207186), Fariha Mahbub Mim (ID –190207034), Luluar Marzan Heme (ID - 190207001) and Raisha Ferdousi Maha (ID – 20200207184) from the IPE program participated in an industrial attachment Nestle Bangladesh PLC, from 2nd October 11th October 31, 2023. From this attachment, they gained practical knowledge about different departments. They got to experience the entire manufacturing process of the confectionary and culinary section, IF packaging section, Coffee and Meggie production line, soup, Cereal section, and finally the engineering section, which includes both utilities and maintenance. They also got hands-on experience with different conveyors, testing processes, finance, sections, supply chain management, safety engineering, Human Resource Management (HR), Quality Assurance, automatic filling, mixing machines, and even the reuse of power packs.
