On December 13, 2023, a training session on CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Milling machine Simulation was conducted at Machine Shop. This training was a significant step towards enhancing the technical skills of our lab attendants, enabling them to stay abreast of the latest advancements in machining technology.
Organized by Mr. Abul Kalam, the esteemed Foreman Instructor of the Machine Shop Lab, the session saw an overwhelming response from the lab attendants. Mr. Kalam's initiative in arranging this training underscores his commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development among the staff. The training session was conducted by Mr. Tarekuzzaman, a CNC specialist from the Bangladesh Industrial Technical Assistance Centre (BITAC). With his extensive knowledge and expertise, Mr. Tarekuzzaman provided hands-on experience to the participants, focusing on the intricacies of CNC milling machine simulators. His approach combined theoretical knowledge with practical insights, making the session informative and engaging. During the training, the lab attendants delved deep into the operating system of the CNC simulator. They explored various aspects of the machine, including its programming, operational controls, and troubleshooting methods.
