Mechanical and Production Engineering

A group of two students, Jannatun Tabassum Sreya (ID – 200107077) and Misbah Ul Ahsan (ID – 200107157) from level 3, term 2 of the IPE program participated in an industrial attachment at PRAN-RFL Factory, Narshingdi, from July 8 to July 15, 2023. From this attachment, they gained practical knowledge about different departments. They got to experience the entire manufacturing process of different beverage sections, the bakery section, the confectionary and culinary section, the dairy section, the plastic section, the QC section of PRAN-RFL, and finally the engineering section, which includes both utilities and maintenance. They also got hands-on experience with different conveyors, extrusion molding, injection molding, supply chain management, QC test equipment, automatic filling, blow molding, and even the tri-generational power pack, which supplies all the utility support from gas only.
