From July 2nd through the 6th, 2023, 15 (fifteen) students from the Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) program (level-4, Term-2) participated in an industrial attachment at the Bangladesh Industrial Technical Assistance Center (BITAC) for 5 (five) days. BITAC has gained recognition for its collaboration with a wide range of industries, as well as its endorsement of academics at the undergraduate and graduate levels. During their time at BITAC, they were able to explore the organization's various departments, including the Tools & Technology Institute (TTI), Industrial Engineering Division (IED), Production Control Division (PCD), Computer Numerical Control (CNC), Foundry, Heat Treatment, Machine shop, Inspection, and Testing. They had the opportunity to have conversations with the managers and workers of several departments, gaining insight into the inner workings of the training facility.
