IEOM Society AUST Student Chapter presented “Excel Your Way 2.0”, a sequel of the first-of-its-kind event “Excel Your Way” on Microsoft Excel in AUST.

In this digital age, every professional needs to be an expert in MS Excel. In order to give you a one-stop solution under one roof, IEOM Society AUST Student Chapter came up with “Excel Your Way 2.0”. It was comprised of two segments:

➤Online Workshop

➤Competition

On 2^nd June, 2023 and 3^rd June, 2023 consecutively, a 2-day long online workshop was conducted by an industry expert and one of our respected faculty members. Later on, on 6^th June, 2023 a competition on MS Excel took place at the “Simulation Lab” from 2:40-6:00 PM. The following event was a single-round offline competition that provided the chance to get hands-on experience with MS Excel dashboards and datasets. The organisers acknowledged the fact that students of all the semesters have classes, labs and quizzes to attend. So, the arrangement of different time slots for the participant convenience was taken into measure.

The competition was interactive and was completed on a higher note and formed a competitive spirit amongst all. Following the results, the winners of the competition received the prize money from Prof. Dr. Mazharul Islam, head of the MPE department.

The organisers are especially thankful to Mr. Md. Adib Rahman, Faculty Advisor, IEOM Society AUST Student Chapter for his enormous contribution. The competition ended with the goal that was set to let everyone on how to start guiding oneself through the world of MS Excel and to build themself as an expert.
