Mechanical and Production Engineering

On August 18, 2022, the students of IPE 17^th batch went on an industrial visit at Walton, Gazipur along with five faculty members from IPE program. They visited the numerous production floors of that company. It consists of various subsidiaries and linked enterprises, the majority of which are unified under the Walton brand. Walton Motors, Walton Mobile, Walton Electronics, and Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited are among the subsidiaries. Walton manufactures electronics, computers, automobiles, and telecommunications equipment. Since 2017, it has been the first Bangladeshi brand to introduce mobile phones in the market, as well as the first fridge compressor manufacturing company in Bangladesh.
