Mechanical and Production Engineering

Md Jawad Bin Rouf, a distinguished graduate of the Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE) Program under the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering (MPE) from the Fall Semester 2023 graduating batch, has been awarded the prestigious “Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah Padak” at the 12th Convocation of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), held on 14 May 2025.

He received this highest academic award of the university in recognition of achieving the highest CGPA of 3.970 in his graduating batch. The “Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah Padak” is conferred upon graduates who demonstrate exceptional academic excellence and outstanding performance throughout their undergraduate studies. The award was formally conferred by the Chancellor of the University.

This remarkable achievement reflects Md Jawad Bin Rouf’s dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. His accomplishment is a matter of great pride for the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering as well as the entire AUST community.

Extending his journey of academic excellence, Md. Jawad Bin Rouf is currently working as a Lecturer in the IPE Program under the Department of Mechanical and Production Engineering.
